Before I knew what Bloodlines was, I met my now liege, Night. After we had been friends for a while, he started saying how he needed an active blood doll to feed off of. I was confused, of course, so I asked what he meant, and he proceeded to explain the basics of this mysterious new system, stating that he needed blood to survive.
This all made perfect sense to me, but I was hesitant at first. I wanted to help him of course, but I also wanted to stay human, and I thought that if I gave him my blood I would never get it back. With the utmost patience, he explained how I could eat apples and drink cider to restore my humanity. I considered it, and figured, what was the harm?
Now, in my second horde, I have the most amazing family that is extremely close-knit and supportive. They make my Bloodlines experience so much better, and I would gladly give up blood for any of them. All in all, I'm glad I found Bloodlines, and I wouldn't trade these experiences for anything.
